Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Can We Have Outdoor Fires?

Yes! One of the highlights of staying at The Apple Farm is gathering around an outdoor fire as the sun sets over the Warwickshire countryside. Firepits are a beloved part of the glamping experience here. We provide firepits at our glamping pitches so you can toast marshmallows, swap stories, and enjoy the evening air with your dog curled up at your feet — the perfect end to a day exploring the Cotswolds.

We just ask that guests follow our fire safety guidelines: keep fires contained to the designated firepit area, never leave fires unattended, and ensure they are fully extinguished before going to bed. It's the kind of simple, slow pleasure that makes glamping so special.

Q2. Are the Shepherd Huts Adults Only?

Our en-suite shepherd huts — Apple Pie and Apple Crumble — are designed with couples and adults in mind, offering a romantic and peaceful countryside retreat. They're beautifully kitted out with everything you need for a cosy, comfortable stay, and are ideal for a grown-up escape — perhaps a weekend exploring the Cotswolds, visiting Clarkson's Farm, or discovering Stratford-upon-Avon.

While they're best suited to adults, we're a friendly, family-run farm and always happy to chat through your requirements. Give us a call on 07517 753 777 and we'll do our best to help. If you're travelling with children, our bell tents or off-grid camping pitches are likely a better fit — read on!

Q3. Which Is Better for Families: Shepherd Huts, Bell Tents, or Camping?

Bell Tents are a fantastic choice for families! Our larger Windsor Bell Tent accommodates up to 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 4 children — perfect for a proper family glamping adventure. The Golden Delicious and Spartan bell tents are ideal for couples or smaller families, while the Cox Bell Tent suits those after a bit more peace and quiet.

Shepherd Huts are best suited to couples or adults looking for a romantic, cosy escape. With their en-suite facilities and snug interiors, they're ideal for a luxurious base for exploring the Cotswolds as a couple.

Great question — and the answer really depends on the age of your children and what kind of adventure you're after!

Off-Grid Camping is the most flexible and budget-friendly option, available from just £26 per night for 2 adults. It's a brilliant choice for families who love the full outdoor experience — and with 55 acres to explore and the Cotswolds right on your doorstep (not to mention Clarkson's Farm just 50 minutes away!), there's endless adventure on offer. Dogs are very welcome across the site.
