First Wedding of non-corvid season and it was so emotional too see everybody dancing!
Dean & Lyndsey found me on Facebook and asked me to photograph their upcoming wedding day! They wanted photographs that would document their day. Lyndsey used the words, “…a fly on the wall”. This perfectly fits in with my style of photography and then they told me they were getting married at Parley Manor, near Bournemouth, I knew I’d found my dream client and I was so excited.
Like many couples in 2020 and 2021, Dean & Lyndsey hadn’t had it easy, they had tried setting a date and faced postponement after postponement due to the restrictions. However, everything came together as the final date they chose landed right after the easing of wedding restrictions, which meant canapés and dancing!
The location was wonderful. Parley Manor provides plenty of outdoor space (which I love); the ceremony had a beautiful summer glow to it and the land provided and excellent opportunity for those sunset/golden portraits. There is an gorgeous swing on a hill which is decorated top to bottom in flowers, it made for some perfect group and portrait shots.. If I could renew my wedding vowels and have a whole new wedding day, I would do it here. And oh my goodness… the food! It was…. Wow, I have no words.
At the end of an amazing day, I notice a beautiful full moon sitting over the venue. And I couldn’t help but get a little emotional. It was such perfect day, Lyndsey & Dean were so kind and friendly. Their guests were also a lot of fun and really made me feel a part of the day.
